Information and Advice
HAD staff all currently provide this service for disabled and older people. In 2016 we received 30,000 telephone calls seeking information and advice. We work closely with a variety of types of organisations to provide up to date information for you.
Offering you accurate, relevant, up-to date Information and Advice is our top priority. This includes topics and issues such as:
If we don’t know the answer to your query we will take your details, do the research and contact you back with the answer or a checked signposting to organisations that can help.
Also we provide some benefits advice by appointment either at our Welwyn Garden City centre or via a telephone call. We have a fully trained volunteer who works hard to ensure you get the correct and best advice possible.
