Rights for disabled people are complicated and covered by many differing pieces of legislation.

Disability Rights UK is a unification of Disability Alliance, RADAR and The National Centre For Independent Living formed on 1st January 2012. They aim to be the largest national pan-disability organisation led by disabled people. Click the link above to visit their website.

The EHRC has a statutory remit to protect, enforce and promote equality within a number of sectors including disability. They are experts in discrimination cases and have extensive legal powers relating to equality law. The EHRC in England can be contacted on the details below.
