Core services encompass the basic day-to-day running of the organisation.
These vital services include reception, telephone answering, administration, record keeping and secretarial work. The cost of maintaining all of this is entirely met by HAD’s funds. They are vital if we wish to make life easier for disabled and older people across the country.
As an organisation we no longer have sufficient reserves to run these services without a contribution. It is a fact of life that the bigger and more successful we become the greater the need will be for these services. So all future projects will include a percentage for running core services to help us meet this ever increasing cost.
