Information and Advice

All staff currently provide this service. Last year HAD received 20,000 telephone calls seeking information. We also provide benefits information, given by a trained volunteer.

HAD works closely with other local organisations to provide up to date information for its clients.

Offering a better Information Service is always a top priority. Last year HAD received over 25,000 telephone calls seeking information. We give information on:

• Disabled people’s rights;
• Benefits;
• Transport Options;
• Equipment and Mobility
• Accessible Holidays

…and much more. If we can’t help you we will put you in contact with an organisation that can, through our Information Directory

We have recently taken on a consultant to help us improve our information research and ability to offer appropriate information as quickly as possible.
