More than 300 people visited HAD Director Edna Stephens’ fantastic Lemsford Village on Easter Monday.
There was plenty of fun in the sun for young and old with lots of chocolate for the children completing the egg hunt.
But not all the youngsters stuck to the chocolate. Little Elia Camba (pictured) fancied some of the other goodies on offer.
Twenty-one-month-old Elia was at her second Lemsford Village Easter hunt and certainly seemed to enjoy the strawberries!
Coming up are two other fundraisers. Firstly the third annual Jazz on the Island evening picnic and music festival takes place on Saturday June 16.
Again it will be held at 13 Lemsford Village where some swinging trad jazz will be provided by Bob Thomas and the Thomcats. Tickets, priced at £8, are available now from The Woodside Centre, or you can pay £10 on the night. Nice!
And on Friday September 21 there will be some different kind of swinging when the inaugural HAD Golf Day takes place.
The venue is Mill Green Golf Club (just behind the QE2 Hospital in WGC). 4-ball teams are invited to play for The Terry Stevens Trophy. Cost is £200 a team and this includes breakfast, 3-course lunch, auction and prizes.
