New look and name for ELC

group

HAD’s new-look Terry Stevens Centre, formerly the Easier Living Centre was opened at a special Open Day in August.

The event took place at the Woodside Centre and attracted almost 100 guests, including local MP Grant Shapps who performed the official opening ceremony.
The Centre was re-named the Terry Stevens Centre after our former Chairman who died earlier this year.
The Centre boasts refurbished shop, assessment, exhibition and kitchen areas as well as the FAST track Equipment Service (FASTEST). This is a small team of Adult Care Services Occupational Therapists, Community Care Officers and an Administrator.
The team work together with HAD to offer assessments to people needing help with daily activities, such as bathing and toileting.
“The whole day was a huge success and a fitting tribute to Terry,” HAD Chief Executive Annabelle Waterfield explained.
