Lord Salisbury joins as Patron

Lord Salisbury is the latest high-profile supporter of Hertfordshire Action on Disability.

The new Patron visited the Woodside Centre HQ on February 12 to meet staff and take a look at our services.

He visited the Terry Stevens Centre, met the FASTEST team and 24-hour Transport Service Manager Phil Caley and spent almost two hours discussing our work.

“My wife and I very much enjoyed our visit – it was most interesting to find out some more about the work which is carried out there and to see at first hand the difference it makes to people’s lives,” Lord Salisbury explained.

“I am honoured to have been asked to become a Patron of HAD and look forward to doing what I can to support them.”

Lord Salisbury (pictured with Chief Executive Annabelle Waterfield) joins musician Jeff Wayne, MP Grant Shapps and architect Colin Smart who have all recently become Patrons.
