Runaway Successes
Our two latest fundraisers both proved to be popular and profitable
Tamara and Tyara Banerjee – the twin daughters of HAD Finance Director Jon Banerjee – successfully completed this year’s Flora London Marathon.
Both girls, aged 24, completed the course in a little over five hours, and have so far raised over £4,000!
Congratulations are in order, especially as they both suffered injuries. Tamara cracked a bone in her foot prior to the race on April 23. She had difficulty in walking for a few days after the race. Tyara picked up a knock after 15 miles of the race. Both showed extreme determination to finish.
Thanks to the girls and also to everyone who sponsored them.

Meanwhile The Easter Raffle and egg hunt in director Edna Stephens’ Lemsford Village Kingfisher Island garden raised £750.00.
Winners of the raffle were: Helen West (digital camera); Kim Thomas (large chocolate hamper); Mary Ann Mawson (smaller chocolate hamper); Bob Pearman (chocolate egg safe); Len Carron (coffee cups) and Elaine Martin (fluffy duck).
