University (Football) Challenge

7 March 2019
A team of enterprising and sporty students at the University of Hertfordshire will be getting a big kick out of a charity fundraising event for HAD next month.

The students: Anna Pomfrett, Yasmin Soames, Zoe Richter, Jessica Palmer and Bradley Goldsmith are supporting us by organising a five-a-side football tournament with a difference on the 4G all-weather pitches at the campus on Saturday 13 April. Cost is £2 per player.

“We're hoping to attract both students and local players to participate,” Bradley explained. “But don't worry about whether you are fit enough, we will all be playing walking football and are encouraging players young and old to take part”

The matches start at 10am and the tournament will end at mid-day. As well as football, there will also be a mobility scooter rally and a raffle. Anyone wishing to play should contact Bradley via email: or phone him on 07875 478700.
