HAD welcomes new Patron Robert Ashton

HAD's new Patron Robert Ashton is an experienced social entrepreneur, campaigner and best selling business author. His 12th book, ‘How to be a Social Entrepreneur’ (Capstone Oct 2010) was described by the Guardian as ‘thorough and easy-to-read.’ 

Robert is also a Trustee of Norfolk Community Foundation and a Governor of Norfolk & Waveney Mental Health Foundation Trust. Robert introduced the ‘Human Library’ to challenge prejudice and reduce stigma. 

Robert is a respected commentator on social enterprise and ‘Big Society’ and an inspiring speaker. He uses simple metaphor and real life examples to illustrate his point. He speaks from experience, with passion and is very persuasive.

Robert is also a Director of Ethecol CIC, a provider of affordable chip & pin card processing services to affinity and fundraising groups.
