Edna's tasty fundraising treat

Not content with organising HAD's annual favourites the Easter egg hunt and Jazz on the Island, Director and fundraiser extraordinaire Edna Stephens has cooked up a new idea.

On July 19 Edna invited more than 70 friends and supporters to lunch at her 13 Lemsford Village garden.

They were treated to a fantastic feast of canapes, salmon trout, cold meats, seasonal vegetables and salads, finishing up with a selection of summer fruits. Husband Steve manned the wine bar and with a minimum donation of £10 and additional raffle the event made a mouth-watering £1500.

HAD's Alison Pearman, Annabelle Waterfield and Seb Tull are pictured below greeting guests.
