Good sport Ross Kemp (second left) won three trophies at HAD's third annual golf day – a short while after donating them!
Ross’s company, Five Star Trophies, provided all the winners' prizes for the day at Redbourn on September 25.
Ross not only captained the winning side but also won the best individual and longest drive awards. The five handicapper from Hemel Hempstead plays his golf at Batchwood Golf Club, St Albans. He also provides football coaching in local schools via Ross and Andy’s Soccer Camps.
In the team competition it was a close thing with Ross's Five Star Trophy team equal on 85 points with Team 007, captained by Kevin Bond. Ross, together with team mates Steve Bass and Ian and Derek Butler, won with a better back nine.
Competitors were blessed with glorious weather all day and the event, which included lunch, raffle and auction, raised over £800.
