HAD made sure Beti Selby had a blooming marvellous 101st birthday recently.
Our Transport Service took Beti from Stanborough Lodge nursing home to Stevenage’s Toby Carvery for a celebratory party on October 31 and Driver Phil Pateman presented Beti with a special bouquet.
Beti, originally from Caernarfon, north Wales, moved to Hitchin in the 1930s and lived there until four years ago when she moved to Stanborough Lodge.
Son Roger, daughter Myra, grandchildren Jonathan, Huw and Elisabeth and great grandson Jack, joined Beti for the family birthday bash.
The Transport Service also helped Nora Smith celebrate her 90th birthday on November 5. Nora, aunt of HAD Chief Executive Annabelle Waterfield, celebrated in WGC.
